We've been told by Slice's head coaches at Doom's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Laithwaite tries to close the distance and clinch but Slice swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Laithwaite walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Laithwaite wants to clinch.
Laithwaite slips a straight right by Slice.
