A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wees is defended easily by Koekemoer.
Koekemoer lands with a kick to the ribs.
Wees with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Koekemoer to score with a decent uppercut.
Wees fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Koekemoer avoids it really well and circles away.
Koekemoer appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wees fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wees wants to get back to striking at distance but Malachi won't allow it.
Wees looking for a takedown.
Sansus Malachi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edda Wees.

A short body shot lands from Malachi as the two fighters clinch.

Malachi creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Wees's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Wees drops to his knees and Malachi pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Wees rushes Mamouhdi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wees avoids a wild elbow strike from Mamouhdi.
Mamouhdi keeps control of Wees as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mamouhdi has a couple of punches blocked by Wees. #BC2#
Wees's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mamouhdi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mamouhdi misses with a double jab.
Mamouhdi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wees dodges the punch combination from Mamouhdi. #TD#
Mamouhdi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wees tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mamouhdi is in Wees's guard.
Mamouhdi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wees is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Mamouhdi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Mamouhdi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #T1#
