Damrock shoots in and bounces Jon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.#SUB2#
Jon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Damrock gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jon working a defensive guard here.
Damrock is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. #SUB2#

Jon working for submissions but it's allowed Damrock to get to half guard.
Damrock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

enabling Jon to counter with a crisp jab.
