Cartwright motions for Diodorus to come forward. Cartwright throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Diodorus throwing a counter right hand but Cartwright manages to avoid it.
Cartwright looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Diodorus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Cartwright is looking for a kimura but Diodorus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cartwright to get the leverage.

Diodorus's coaches at The Rubber Guard Emporium have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Diodorus shoots in and drives through. Abduallahi sprawls well.

Abduallahi wants the takedown. Diodorus is fighting it off but Abduallahi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Diodorus's guard against the cage.
Abduallahi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. #SUB#
Diodorus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Abduallahi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Abduallahi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Abduallahi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diodorus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well Abduallahi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
