Havas smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Soul looks to score with a jab to the body but Havas is just out of range.
Havas displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Soul throws out the jab.
A head kick misses from Soul.
Havas wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Havas cracks a nice hook into Soul's ribs.
Soul tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #KD#
Havas sends Soul crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Havas is motioning to the referee to let Soul up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#CUT#It looks like Daker Soul has been cut.
Havas seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#CL#
Havas moves into range and clinches up with Soul.
Havas is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Havas trying to control the position but instead, Soul has worked for underhooks and has pushed Havas into the cage.
Soul keeps control of Havas as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Soul is still on wobbly legs! Can Havas finish him?
Soul blocks an uppercut.
Soul prevents Havas from breaking the clinch.
Havas unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Soul! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Havas is unloading with more strikes now! Soul drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kamu Havas!
Kamu Havas was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Soul lands a big head kick that sends Best tumbling to the mat! Soul takes a step backwards and waves Best back to his feet - he wants the finish!#KD2#
Soul sends Best crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Soul is motioning to the referee to let Best up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC2#Best is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Soul throws a quick head kick that knocks Best silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Soul is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

Lopez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure. #CUT2#It looks like Jose Lopez has been cut.
Lopez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Soul defends well and Lopez ends up having to push Soul into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#BC2#
Soul breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance. #KD2#
Soul lands a big head kick that sends Lopez tumbling to the mat! Soul takes a step backwards and waves Lopez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Soul connects with a superb combination that knocks Lopez out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Soul before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Lopez!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Daker Soul!

Soul throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.

and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Johnson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson connects with a couple of short punches.
Johnson is in close to Soul's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Johnson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Johnson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB2#
Soul is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Soul down.

Soul is working to avoid the ground and pound but Johnson connects with a decent elbow.
Johnson looks up at the clock and then as Soul takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Johnson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Soul really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Soul takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Soul is still in real trouble! Can Johnson finish him?
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Soul can do anything to dispel that myth.
Johnson lands a strong strike to the head of Soul. That's dazed him! Johnson looking to finish here. Soul is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Johnson lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Damien Johnson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
