Suzuki throws out a loose jab but Akakpo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Akakpo doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Suzuki lands with a right hand.
Akakpo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Suzuki lunges at Akakpo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Akakpo's hand.
Suzuki really is a fat lump.
Akakpo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Suzuki has cracked Akakpo with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Suzuki lands another huge swinging hook and Akakpo tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Akakpo, before Suzuki can land any more shots!
