McCarthy lands with a good body shot.
Wulff clobbers McCarthy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Wulff looks to throw the jab but McCarthy is out of range.

McCarthy is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wulff is just too persistent for him and manages to trip McCarthy to the mat. McCarthy regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

LaFleur uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wulff.
A slow jab from LaFleur misses its intended target.
LaFleur comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Wulff looking to score a takedown here. Kong is defending well but Wulff drives through and ends up in Kong's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kong trying to control the position.
Kong utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wulff throwing strikes but missing.
Kong on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kong tries to get out of the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wulff postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wulff stands up over Kong, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
