Oppenheimer shoots in looking for a takedown. Paulsen tries to sprawl out of it but Oppenheimer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Paulsen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. #TD2#

Well Paulsen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Puro ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Puro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Murha Puro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Oppenheimer.
Puro fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Oppenheimer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Puro stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Puro lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Oppenheimer up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Puro from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Oppenheimer's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Howe goes for a double leg but Oppenheimer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Oppenheimer continues to drive forward.
Howe looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD#
Oppenheimer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Oppenheimer.
