Carlson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Conner has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Carlson has passed into side control.

Carlson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Conner to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Conner shrugs it off.

Asher drops Conner with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Conner looks back up at him and smiles so Asher waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
