Takeda connects with a body shot that sends Kubota's belly button to the back.
Sloppy strikes from Kubota. Those never looked like landing.
Kubota misses with a jab, cross combination.
Takeda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kubota shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takeda as he avoids it easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kubota ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kubota swings for the body but Takeda moves out of range.
Kubota blocks a head kick by Takeda.

Takeda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kubota manages to avoid it.
Takeda pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Takeda misses with an uppercut.
Takeda displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kubota throws out the jab.
Kubota throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fighters circle, before Takeda throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kubota's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Takeda lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Keishin Takeda!

Takeda stuns Fighter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Fighter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Takeda is trying to break the clinch but Fighter is controlling him.
Fighter is trying to drag Takeda to the mat but Takeda just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.#TD2#
Fighter has picked Takeda up - he's going for a ride! Fighter dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Fighter prevents Takeda from standing back up.
Fighter wants to pass to mount but Takeda is defending the position.
Fighter lands strikes from half guard.
Fighter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Takeda wants to get back to his feet.
Fighter is pressing down on Takeda's thigh, looking to free his foot. Takeda is holding on for now. #T1#
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Takeda scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Fighter manages to mount him!
Fighter is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Takeda's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Takeda somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Takeda goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fighter tries to counter with a clinch but Takeda shakes him off and moves away.
Takeda lunges at Fighter with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fighter's hand.
Takeda connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.#TD2#
Fighter shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fighter content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. #T2#
Let's hope that Fighter has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#SU2#
Fighter decides to stand and escape the position.
Fighter slips a jab and a cross from Takeda.
Despite the aggression on Fighter's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Takeda works Fighter's body with a nice hook.

Takeda is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Takeda wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Takeda trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.#T4#
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
