#R1##TD2# Emelianenko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Johnson's guard. Emelianenko pushes down on Johnson's leg and manages to get into half guard. Emelianenko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Johnson pushes Emelianenko off looking to stand but Emelianenko dives back in and keeps control.
Emelianenko working Johnson over with strikes. Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Emelianenko on the ground. Emelianenko landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Emelianenko sitting and controlling from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Emelianenko lands strikes from half guard. Emelianenko is taking a breather. Johnson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#T1# It looks like Emelianenko might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Emelianenko slips a nice elbow through Johnson's hands, connecting with Johnson's forehead. Emelianenko thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Johnson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Emelianenko not doing much here.
#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Emelianenko is continuing to stall.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Johnson tests Emelianenko's chin there with a solid looking shot. Johnson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Johnson connects with a crisp jab. Emelianenko with a poor takedown and Johnson counters with a nice body shot. Emelianenko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johnson avoids it really well and circles away. Boom Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Emelianenko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab. Boom Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Emelianenko.#T3##TD2# Emelianenko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johnson to the mat! Johnson manages to get full guard. Emelianenko stays in close to Johnson's body and controls the position. Emelianenko scoring with punches to the head and body. Emelianenko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Johnson is keeping the position for now. Emelianenko throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Johnson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Emelianenko advances position into side control! Emelianenko in side control, just content to control the action for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Johnson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Emelianenko connects with a decent elbow. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Emelianenko dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.#R2##TD2# Emelianenko manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Johnson on his heels. He'll look to pass Johnson's guard now, I'm sure. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Emelianenko. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Emelianenko engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Emelianenko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Emelianenko distracts Johnson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Emelianenko has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Emelianenko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Let's hope that Emelianenko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Emelianenko scoring with some ground and pound. Emelianenko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Johnson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Johnson being controlled here, momentarily. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Emelianenko has a takedown stuffed.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Emelianenko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away. Johnson scores with a sloppy right hand. Emelianenko should have avoided that one. Johnson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Emelianenko doesn't seem bothered though. Johnson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Johnson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Boom Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Emelianenko. Johnson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.#TD2# Emelianenko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Johnson sprawls well initially but Emelianenko persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Emelianenko missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Emelianenko slows the pace down in half guard. Emelianenko uses his free foot to push down on Johnson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Johnson. #T3# Emelianenko working Johnson over with strikes here. A nice elbow there by Emelianenko. Emelianenko is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Johnson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Emelianenko connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Emelianenko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Emelianenko lands a heavy elbow. Emelianenko drops a big elbow. That's hurt Johnson! More shots from Emelianenko and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Yoda makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A left hand lands to the body for Yoda.
A short left from Yoda. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Yoda. Johnson looks winded! Yoda lands a right hand that snaps the head of Johnson backwards. Yoda lands with a left to the head. Yoda working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yoda lands with a light punch inside. Yoda throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Johnsons head. #T1# Still in the clinch, Yoda scores with a nice short uppercut. Yoda works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yoda lands a body punch in the clinch. Yoda dips a shoulder and cracks Johnson with a mighty uppercut! Johnson falls back against the cage and Yoda unloads with a barrage of strikes! Johnson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Yoda screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
