Vrases is trying to maintain the position but Liang is very close to passing his half guard.
Liang thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vrases's head.

Liang postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Vrases on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Vrases doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Dieseiros shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Liang but Liang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
An attempted straight right counter from Liang misses the target.
Dieseiros will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Liang was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dieseiros looks to land a combination but Liang avoids it well.
Dieseiros shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Liang sprawls well. Liang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dieseiros gets slowly back to his feet.
Yu Liang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Dieseiros.

and Liang decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Soucy's guard.
