Jason Murray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murray goes for a double leg but Rua avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Rua continues to drive forward.
Rua lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Murray or not.
A battle for position here, against the ropes.

Murray working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rua doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rua manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rua throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Murray stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rua throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Murray moves away from the strike by Rua.
Are you kidding me?! Rua ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Murray clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Murray throws a series of punches but Salama avoids them all with ease.

Outie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Outie throws a head kick that half lands.
Murray goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. #CL2#

Outie is pressed up against the cage. Murray has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Outie down to the mat. Outie avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Murray fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Outie is out of range.
Good work by Outie as he checks the leg kick.
Murray tries to bum rush Outie with a series of wild strikes but Outie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.#CL2#
Murray has managed to clinch.
Outie keeps control of Murray as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Outie goes for a takedown in the clinch but Murray prevents it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Murray accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Murray loads up on a big left hand. Outie felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Murray looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Outie can't hide his disappointment, as Murray celebrates the victory.
