Lane lands a nice hook to Reyes's body. Reyes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reyes circles away quickly and effectively.
Lane lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lane.
Lane misses with a wild body shot.
Lane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reyes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Reyes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lane looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lane pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Reyes back to the cage. Lane follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Lane connects with a looping right hand.
A combination from Lane does no damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reyes shoots in for a takedown but Lane shows good takedown defense.
Lane ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.#TD#
Reyes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lane looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lane, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Reyes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Reyes postures up in Haley's guard and throws a big left but Haley blocks it.
Reyes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
We've been hearing that Reyes has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Haley can do anything to dispel that myth.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Haley holds on and takes a little breather.

Reyes tries to bench press Legend Jr off him but Legend Jr keeps the position.
Legend Jr tries to move to full mount but Reyes actually manages to regain half guard.

Reyes is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Legend Jr frees his head nicely. Oh but Reyes has switched to an armbar! Legend Jr is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Reyes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haalvisto pinned against the cage. Haalvisto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Reyes doesn't manage to clinch there - Haalvisto circles away.
Haalvisto scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Haalvisto scores with a jab. Reyes acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Reyes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
