Souza is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Flytrap chips away with some ground and pound.
Flytrap has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB2#
Souza is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Flytrap trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Flytrap trying to control but Souza is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flytrap looking to sit in guard and control but Souza gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB#
Souza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Flytrap swivels though and keeps the full guard. #T1#

Souza has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Flytrap to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Souza is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Flytrap pulls down on the head and he's put Souza to sleep! This one is all over!

Dahmer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pearson manages to avoid it.

Pearson tries to clinch up but Dahmer circles away and keeps his distance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pearson tries to score a body lock takedown but Dahmer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Dahmer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pearson walks away with a smile on his face. Dahmer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #T1##TD2#

Pearson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Dahmer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pearson is looking to escape.
Dahmer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#T2#

Pearson has left one of his arms exposed and Dahmer doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pearson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
