Wilander wants to clinch.
Wilander stalks Takeda and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Takeda's face. Takeda staggers backwards, shaken.#CUT2#It looks like Genyo Takeda has been cut.
Takeda throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilander.
Wilander looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Takeda is fending him off so far but Wilander persists. Nope, Takeda circles away and we're back to standing.
A jab lands there for Takeda.
Takeda lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wilander gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Takeda counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Takeda looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lamont fails with a takedown attempt.

Lamont appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lamont connects with a nice short shot to Takeda's temple.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Takeda can do anything to dispel that myth.

Takeda cracks Lamont's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Lamont slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Takeda can do further damage! This one is done, son!
