Slater wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Slater tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chatchai was well out of range. Poor timing from Slater.
Slater lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Slater lands the left hand.
Chatchai uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slater.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maeda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smoke tries to avoid it but Maeda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smoke to the ground. Smoke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Maeda takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Smoke throws a shot to the body.
Smoke connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Big Smoke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Smoke has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Boson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Boson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Boson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
