Pegas throws a leg kick which misses Rodri's front leg but catches the back leg as Rodri tries to avoid it.
Rodri moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rodri misses with a double jab
and Pegas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pegas fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pegas. That's going to slow Rodri down.
Rodri takes a swing at Pegas's ribcage but misses.
Pegas explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Rodri wants to clinch but Pegas slips to the side
and Pegas counters with a straight right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rodri is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pegas.
Pegas punishes Rodri's body with a nice straight punch.
Pegas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rodri on the side of the head.

Pegas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rodri has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fighters circle, before Pegas throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Rodri's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Pegas lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ilmarinen's coaches at Cozad MMA Tokyo have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
