Test Seven had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 272.5, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Alf Ventress was cancelled.

Hatt finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mertens throws a nice looking combination but Mason bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It looked like Mason was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mertens.
Mertens throws a body punch but Mason moves out of range.

Mason moves into the clinch.
Mason looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Mertens has Mason pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mertens pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mason tumbling to the mat - Mertens dives into Mason's guard.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bellamy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And Bellamy tries to counter it with a takedown but Jackmen pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Ventress lands a left and a right that send Morgan crashing to the mat, dazed. Ventress thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Golod is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Younger dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

As Rasputin looks to move away, Wetherby throws a big counter combo but Rasputin just gets out of the way.
