Hare stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hare wants it to stay on the feet.
Lawal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hare tries to avoid it but Lawal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hare to the ground. Hare escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Armstrong has cracked Ashkir with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Armstrong lands another huge swinging hook and Ashkir tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Ashkir, before Armstrong can land any more shots!

Ashkir lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ashkir fakes the leg kick and cracks Litt in the body.
Litt steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ashkir. That one must have hurt.

Ashkir thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Litt if he has to take too many more of those.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Litt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Litt has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
