Gharibi sends Stevenson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gharibi is motioning to the referee to let Stevenson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
We've been told by Gharibi's head coaches at Golden Child Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gharibi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stevenson was well out of range. Poor timing from Gharibi.
Gharibi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stevenson at a distance.
Stevenson is aggressively charging in as Gharibi backs up avoiding any damage. Gharibi tosses out a jab and Stevenson runs right into it face first! Stevenson is out cold! Gharibi dropped down on all fours and is barking in Stevenson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

McGrady closes the distance and clinches up with Thomas, looking for a takedown. McGrady pushes Thomas against the cage but Thomas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Thomas let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
McGrady shoots in for a takedown but Thomas shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wallace McGrady. That's going to take a lot out of him.
