We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pereyra regains full guard. Nicely done.

Go has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Pereyra is on him like a limpet, forcing Go back against the cage.

We've been hearing good reports from Pereyra's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

letting Alvarez counter with a right hand.
Roo tries to clinch up but Alvarez circles away and keeps his distance.
Alvarez swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Alvarez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Roo on the side of the head.
A shot to the liver by Alvarez. Beautiful body shot.
Alvarez throws a nice outside leg kick.
Roo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alvarez tries to avoid it but Roo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alvarez to the ground. Alvarez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
