Scipio moves in looking to clinch but Joy pushes him off.

Scipio went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Joy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Scipio is defended easily by Joy.
Joy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pak.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Vercingeto in particular looking to stall.

Lawrence Wun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wun paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wun throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pak on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
