We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chao is looking for a sweep. Moreno is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Moreno has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've been hearing that Moreno has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Moreno loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Chao scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Moreno land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Moreno stands and salutes the crowd.

Vargas tries to clinch but Sanada is having none of it.
It seemed like Sanada was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Vargas moves in looking to clinch but Sanada pushes him off.
Sanada swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sanada uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.#CUT2#
It looks like Rich Vargas has been cut.
A big left from Sanada misses.

and Sanada counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Sanada ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Oh Vargas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sanada shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Vargas takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Sanada sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Vargas bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Sanada ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Markel moves away.
Masa Sanada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sanada, as that shot connected.
Markel with a poor takedown
and Sanada connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Markel tries for a takedown but Sanada sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sanada! But no joy.
Donk. Sanada catches Markel right on the button with a cross.#ROC2#
Markel is rocked!
Sanada lands an uppercut, right on the button! Markel tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Kim feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kim missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kim must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB#
House escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kim gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kim is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but House has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kim is looking to defend but House has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kim! House pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kim taps out and this one is all over!
