McGrace slaps away a takedown attempt from Joshua, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McGrace is breathing heavily.
Joshua leaves McGrace with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Joshua scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Joshua jabs at McGrace's body.
McGrace slips a jab and a cross from Joshua.
Joshua batters McGrace with a massive right followed by a huge left! McGrace is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Joshua lands a final crushing right hand to drop McGrace to the mat with a gruesome thud! Joshua is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jimmy Joshua!

Thiw tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Holland paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Holland ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thiw moves away.
Thiw throws a body kick that misses.
Thiw is looking to clinch but Holland is avoiding it.
Holland tries to counter by clinching up but Thiw breaks away and moves out of range.
Thiw fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Holland counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Holland.
Holland keeps control of Thiw as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Thiw is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Thiw is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Holland couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Lane tries to close the distance and clinch up but McGrace swats him away and circles back towards the center.

McGrace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lane might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McGrace throws an elbow that misses. Lane uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McGrace's guard. Nice move by Lane!#REVR#
McGrace bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lane's guard. #REVB#

Lane feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lane fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
A big strike lands for Lane! That's really hurt McGrace and he's turned his back - Lane keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lane jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
