The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Westrock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Westrock is working for a kimura but Johnson is defending it quite comfortably.
Westrock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Johnson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Westrock takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Westrock is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Westrock passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Westrock counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Westrock.
Johnson wants to stand up but Westrock is controlling him.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Johnson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Westrock has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Westrock and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

As Villa tries to get set, Wayne tries to push him back and clinch up but Villa manages to avoid the attempt.
Villa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wayne sprawls well. Wayne wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Villa gets slowly back to his feet.

Wayne dives in for a single leg takedown but Villa sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Daniel Wayne will probably get the nod.

Well Villa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Cooper breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sorenson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cooper counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cooper paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sorenson goes for a double leg but Cooper avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cooper continues to drive forward.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cooper! But no joy.
Cooper looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Chad Sorenson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Oh Sorenson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Some bone on bone action there as Cooper checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Sorenson seems to have got his legs back now.
Cooper throws a monster overhand right that drops Sorenson! Cooper follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Cooper!
After winning the bout, Aaron Cooper thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Ezekiel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martos's waist but Martos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ezekiel off to one side.

Ezekiel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Martos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Martos gets caught napping as Ezekiel dives in and scores a takedown. Martos manages to retain guard.

Martos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ezekiel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ezekiel seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Martos for as long as he can get away with.

Ezekiel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ezekiel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Martos should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ezekiel connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That has opened up Julius Martos's cut even more.
The referee warns Martos that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Moretti grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Franco takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Moretti cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
