The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gable drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Davis is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gable taking a break here but Davis is having none of it and regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gable knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Davis enables Gable to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Davis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Johnson clinches up with Frigi and pushes him back against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Frigi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Johnson feints and as Frigi raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Frigi is still in real trouble! Can Johnson finish him?

Johnson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Johnson Throws a clean left jab. Johnson Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Frigi's chin! Frigi crumbles to the ground and Johnson follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Johnson!

In his post fight interview, Ryan Johnson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
