Faber fails with a takedown attempt.
Abner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Faber circles away quickly and effectively.#TD#
Faber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Abner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Faber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Faber passes Abner's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Faber works his way into full mount!
Faber wants to control the pace but Abner is squirming around nicely.

Nicholson chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nicholson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nicholson appears to be looking for a big counter.
Sloppy strikes from Jackson. Those never looked like landing.
As Jackson looks to move away, Nicholson throws a big counter combo but Jackson just gets out of the way.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nicholson but Nicholson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jackson slaps away a takedown attempt from Nicholson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nicholson slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.

Jackson lands a left and a right that send Nicholson crashing to the mat, dazed. Jackson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2#

It looks like Dominick Nicholson has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nicholson leaves his chin hanging out and Jackson seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Nicholson crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

McGregor misses with a double jab
and Gill counters with a three punch combo that has McGregor backing up. McGregor nods at Gill to acknowledge the strikes.
McGregor throws a series of punches but Gill avoids them all with ease.
McGregor leaves Gill with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gill closes the distance and clinches up with McGregor, looking for a takedown. Gill pushes McGregor against the cage but McGregor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A combination from McGregor does no damage.
Gill feinted with a counter takedown.
Gill dives in for a single leg takedown but McGregor sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lesley Gill. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1#

Gill seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

McGregor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McGregor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gill makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gill fails to land the takedown.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. McGregor moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Gill! McGregor continues to tee off on Gill, landing with a left and a right! McGregor connects with a right hand that leaves Gill sleeping against the cage! What a finish by McGregor!
