Hyde defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carroll .#TD2#
Carroll closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hyde's guard.
Carroll trying to control the position from guard on top but Hyde is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Carroll really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hyde. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hyde not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Carroll trying to control but Hyde is working from the bottom.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hyde is on top in guard.

Hyde throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Carroll tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hyde defends well and Carroll ends up having to push Hyde into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hyde is really struggling to control Carroll but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Carroll makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hyde has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Carroll is fighting to break Hyde's control of his arms but Hyde is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Carroll wants to stand but Hyde is controlling his posture from full guard.
Carroll keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hyde's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Carroll stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hyde swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Carroll is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Carroll stays in close to Hyde's body and controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Carroll fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hyde avoids it really well and circles away.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carroll can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hyde drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hyde as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Carroll screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hyde! Nice submission victory there!
