Savage throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Johnson dives in and grabs Savage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out.
Savage fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Johnson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Savage.
Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Savage pushes him off.
Savage misses with a straight right.
Savage throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnson.
Johnson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Savage.
Nice sprawl there from Savage as Johnson shoots in.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt.
Sinner Savage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Johnson.

Savage throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Savage scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Johnson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Johnson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Savage misses with an uppercut. Johnson saw that one coming.
Johnson drops his hands momentarily and Savage takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Savage circles away from the clinch attempt
and Savage cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#ROC#

Savage drops Johnson with a straight right hand, right on the button! Savage follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Stephens tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jacob paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stephens looks to land a combination. Jacob sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.#TD#

Stephens wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Jacob seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stephens for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jacob has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
