McKenzie feints and as Holden raises his hands in defense, McKenzie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Holden wants to control but McKenzie is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McKenzie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holden tries to avoid it but McKenzie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holden to the ground. Holden escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Holden changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McKenzie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

McKenzie sneaks out the side door and pushes Holden away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from McKenzie.

McKenzie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Holden's half guard.
Holden has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McKenzie is working away from the top position though.

Plutten has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Holden uses from the top position.
Plutten has momentary wrist control but Holden slips an elbow through the middle.

Plutten throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Holden escapes and throws Plutten's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Holden moves into full mount!
Plutten is looking to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holden lands a couple of good shots and Plutten has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Plutten tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Holden has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Plutten is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Aromdee stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Green.
Rory Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Green tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Aromdee counters with a stiff right hand.
Green throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Aromdee closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Aromdee goes for a small jab and connects. Now Aromdee goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Green stumbles back but Aromdee runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Green to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Green will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kaan Aromdee!
A less than humble Kaan Aromdee misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
