Mercer with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Horrible takedown attempt by Correira or perhaps it was just good defense by Mercer, which made it look bad.

Knowles dives in and grabs Williams's left leg, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes down on Knowles's head and hops out.

Williams tests Knowles's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Knowles dodges the punch combination from Williams.
Williams lands with an uppercut that bounces Knowles off the cage and back into range.

Williams fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Knowles really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Williams throws a head kick but Knowles moves out of range.
Williams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Knowles tries to counter by clinching up but Williams breaks away and moves out of range.#T1#
Knowles walks into a jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Williams, as that shot connected.
Williams stalks Knowles and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Knowles's face. Knowles staggers backwards, shaken.
