Neal has hold of one of Patton's legs. Patton is fighting the takedown attempt but Neal gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neal decides to stand up.
Neal throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Patton feinted with a counter takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Patton is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

AJ Neal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Neal is pushing Patton up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Neal gets underhooks to prevent Patton's takedown attempt.

Neal has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Patton uses from the top position.

AJ Neal comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Neal has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
