Fournier closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dickle circles away.
Dickle blocks a head kick by Fournier.
Dickle swats away the attempt to clinch by Fournier.
Fournier stalks Dickle and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dickle's face. Dickle staggers backwards, shaken.
Dickle scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Fournier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dickle lands a head shot.
Dickle dips to his left and cracks Fournier with an uppercut!#CUT2#
It looks like Mark Fournier has been cut.
Pickle Dickle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fournier gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dickle.
Dickle scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fournier doesn't seem bothered though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dickle fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fournier's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dickle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fournier scrambles back to his feet.
Dickle scores with a hook to the body. Fournier takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Fournier is breathing heavily.
Fournier shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dickle as he avoids it easily.

Dickle lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Fournier.
Dickle creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Fournier with a big uppercut! Fournier tries to clinch up but Dickle pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Fournier to the mat! Fournier covers up and Dickle unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Pickle Dickle!

Roberts throws a body kick despite being completely out of range#TD#
and Ray counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ray.
Ray looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roberts tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ray stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roberts swivels though and keeps the full guard. #T1#

Ray gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ray might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ray looking to hit a scissor sweep but Roberts is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ray doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Ray lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR#

Ray tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ray has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Roberts is pushing Ray's head away, looking to escape. Ray manages to hold on to the position though.
Ray postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

A close round but Brody Roberts will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

A helpless look comes across Ray 's face. He knows he's trapped as Roberts lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!

Brody Roberts decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
