Oliver shoots in and gets a takedown into Giordano's guard.#ES2#
Giordano has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Oliver has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Giordano wants to break free but Oliver has control.
Giordano wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Oliver has him pressed against the cage.
Giordano managing to block the knees to the body from Oliver.
Oliver lands a good knee to the midsection. Giordano won't want to take too many of those.
Giordano has Oliver pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Oliver manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Oliver lands with a right to the head.
Oliver's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Giordano is fighting off a takedown attempt but Oliver is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Giordano to the mat. Giordano regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oliver is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Giordano is trying to escape and Oliver transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Giordano is forced to tap! Nice work there by Oliver! Very nice indeed!

Crunch! Nguyen slams his shin into Kidd's torso.
Kidd avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kidd takes one on the button.
Nguyen scores with a nice right hand.
Nguyen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kidd defends well and Nguyen ends up having to push Kidd into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nguyen fails with the takedown.
Nguyen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kidd as he avoids it easily.
Kidd attempts a counter takedown but Nguyen avoids it well and moves away.
Tyson Kidd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Nguyen .
Nguyen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kidd is fending him off so far but Nguyen persists. Nope, Kidd circles away and we're back to standing.#TD#

Nguyen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kidd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kidd looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nguyen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
