Liu lands a nice hook to Brands's body. Brands takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Brands dives in and grabs Liu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Liu pushes down on Brands's head and hops out.
Liu connects with a right hand. Brands shakes it off.
Brands looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
A solid leg kick lands there for Liu.

Brands fails with an attempt to clinch.
Brands tries to move into range but Liu moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've been told by Liu's head coaches at Gumburcules Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Liu throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Brands is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

A very excited looking Lucas Traumen rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
