Brenden closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Koch quickly recovers to half guard.
Brenden is taking a breather. Koch says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Koch might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Brenden wants to stand but Koch has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. #T1#

Brenden is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Koch is fighting off a takedown attempt but Brenden is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Koch to the mat. Koch regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Koch tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Koch has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brenden might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Koch haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was a close round but I would say that Rashad Koch will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Brenden fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Koch looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Some bone on bone action there as Koch checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Brenden passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Koch!

Jimmy Brenden showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Koch manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Rashad Koch showed his dominance in that final round.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
