Juarez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rupert is just riding it out for now. Juarez eventually gives up the hold.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Von Ver Huevan, as that shot connected.
Von Ver Huevan's corner calls for a 1-2. Von Ver Huevan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
McCarthy shoots in looking for a takedown. Von Ver Huevan tries to sprawl out of it but McCarthy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Von Ver Huevan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Magnus Von Ver Huevan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McCarthy tries a head kick but it misses.

McCarthy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Von Ver Huevan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McCarthy scrambles back to his feet.

McCarthy is breathing heavily.
Von Ver Huevan throws an uppercut from hell that sends McCarthy clean off his feet! He's out cold! Von Ver Huevan stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
