Duran misses with a looping left.
Win was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Duran will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Duran throws a left and a right that both miss
and Win connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Win punishes Duran's body with a nice straight punch.
Win missing with a left hand there. Duran was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Duran looks to land a combination. Win sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Duran avoids the body shot from Win.

That was a close round but I would say that Tournament Win will probably get the nod.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Duran might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Win has got the better of the exchanges.

In his post fight interview, Diego Duran started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Spence ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Spence no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quinn won't allow Spence to sweep him here.

A lazy left from Willace finds it's target.
Willace shoots in looking for a takedown. Schmitt tries to sprawl out of it but Willace keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schmitt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Schmitt counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Willace!

Schmitt has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Willace is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Schmitt yanks on the arm and Willace is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Schmitt.
