Nitro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Korobov sprawls well. Korobov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nitro gets slowly back to his feet.
As Nitro looks to move away, Korobov throws a big counter combo but Nitro just gets out of the way.
Nitro throws a head kick that misses. #CL2#
Nitro closes the distance and pushes Korobov back into the cage.
Korobov blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Gordon Masten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Masten bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Matthews's head backwards.
Masten connects with a single shot there.
Matthews is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Matthews will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Masten works Matthews's body with a nice hook.
Masten lands a right hook to the body.
Matthews tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Masten has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Razor Sharp Training Systems in the buildup to the fight.
Matthews gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

and Carter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Carter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Carter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Carter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Carter cracks Silva with a hook to the temple - Silva is on wobbly legs here! Carter swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Silva falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Carter wins by TKO!
