No luck for Belyaev with that takedown attempt.
Belyaev dives in for a single leg takedown but Raven sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Belyaev tries to score a body lock takedown but Raven shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Raven has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Magomedov falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Rurik smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
