Medvedev has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Damchaigym. Oh but Medvedev has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Damchaigym goes limp - he's gone! Medvedev jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Medvedev was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
