Maldini lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Scramstad at a distance.
Maldini circles away from the clinch attempt.
Scramstad tries to close the distance and clinch but Maldini swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Scramstad takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Maldini swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Scramstad.
Scramstad shoots in looking for a takedown. Maldini tries to sprawl out of it but Scramstad keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Maldini manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

It seemed like Maldini was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
