Shibata is aggressively charging in as Alstrup backs up avoiding any damage. Alstrup tosses out a jab and Shibata runs right into it face first! Shibata is out cold! Alstrup dropped down on all fours and is barking in Shibata's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luka Alstrup!

Bugen keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Herzing misses with a leg kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.#TD#
Herzing closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bugen to the mat! Bugen manages to get full guard.

Bugen manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.#TD#

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Herzing tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Bugen wants to control but Herzing is keeping busy.

Bugen is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Herzing has latched onto it... Big trouble! Herzing pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Bugen is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Herzing!

Vasileios swats away the attempt to clinch by Vorachev.
Nice takedown defense from Vasileios. No joy for Vorachev on that attempt.
Vorachev throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vorachev throws a series of punches but Vasileios avoids them all with ease. #KD2#
Vasileios lands a big uppercut and Vorachev crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Vorachev looks OK. Vasileios waves Vorachev back to his feet!#ROC2#Vorachev is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vasileios tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Oh Vorachev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vorachev scores with a head kick.
Vasileios is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Vorachev flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Vorachev is out cold! Vasileios holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Kras walks into a stiff left hand from Outlaw.
Outlaw drops Kras with a naaaaasty hook - Kras is in real trouble here! Outlaw dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Urie shoots in looking for a takedown but Shibata manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Urie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Shibata has his takedown stuffed#CL2#
and Urie counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Urie.
Shibata lands with a light punch inside.
Shibata is pushing Urie up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Urie is trying to push Shibata away but Shibata has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#BC#
Shibata breaks the clinch. #TD#
Shibata closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Urie throws Shibata to one side and escapes!

Urie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shibata gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Shibata has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Shibata seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Urie scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Shibata manages to mount him!
Shibata takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Urie reaches up to try and control the position but Shibata seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Urie rolls and tries to escape and now Shibata has his back!

I really don't envy Urie right now.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck for Urie with that takedown attempt.

Shibata tries to score a power double leg takedown but Urie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shibata somewhat.

Urie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
