Joe Halifax seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halifax shoots in looking for a takedown. Shelf tries to sprawl out of it but Halifax keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shelf manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shelf drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Halifax defends it well.
