Weatherspoon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Weatherspoon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Marquan Weatherspoon opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Banner rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bon counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Banner to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Bon!
