FFC 7:Wolf vs Flagg

Event Preview: FFC 7: Wolf vs Flagg
FORTITUDE FC (200K+)

Author:

FFC 7: Wolf vs Flagg is an upcoming mixed marital arts event to be held by Fortitude FC on June 21, 2014 at the Hard Knocks casino in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

(Background)

FFC 7 is going to go down in the company's history as the fisrt of many MAJOR events that will be put on by the promotion. The tale of this cad is that of an epic; two championship fights and six knockout artists will headline this incredible event.

(The Action)

-[Middleweight bout]: God Nope (0-3)(0-1 FFC) versus Luca Rinaldi (2-2)(0-1 FFC)

-[Preview]: God Nope and Steven Davies need to agree to a light-heavyweight meeting as they are both pure strikers with no hope of ground defenses. God Nope is a pure Muay Thai stylist that has been knocked out, smacked around, and submitted by superior opponents. As he likely approaches his forth consecutive loss with virtually no skill improvements whatsoever, the question really becomes for God Nope: What the hell are you doing, man? Luca Rinaldi is a catch wrestler that is going to take Nope down and pound

Mike Kristiansen was born in a wealthy family in Moscow Russia. Growing up, he loved to fight. But he fought for a good cause. He fought bullies picking on kids at school, people picking on old or homeless people, and pedophiles messing with kids.

A scout started taking notice of Mike and invited him to train in his gym as a boxer. He joined amateur tourney's and won them all. He finished amateur at 17-0. He then went on to Brazilian Jui Jitsu. He went 11-0 in BJJ amateur competition.

Title Contention

Fighter profile of Jerry Jehosifat by Peter Puncher

I caught up with the big bad man, "Jumping" Jerry Jehosifat after his big win over Gabriel Garcia at Valhalla V:NY8 Win vs Washington and this is what he had to say.

Peter: So Jerry should this win put you back in title contention?

Jerry: Definitely Peter, you know Gabriel Garcia is a bad dude, top notch fighter, I got a lot of respect for that dude, but my eyes are on that title man. I'll take on anyone and everyone I have to, to get another title shot and Gabriel was just in the way. I can't sleep at night, I toss and turn thinking about losing and not just losing Peter, I

GAMMA#397 Williams vs Stoppers top 5 fights review

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

GAMMA rolled into Wombley Arena in London for its 397th show. The 93135 fans in attendance and the 213,065 fans that bought the PPV witnessed 7 finishes in 10 fights and some all-round great MMA. Let’s get to the top 5 fights of the evening and see how they panned out.

Glenn Carson vs. “Koroshiya” Ichi Ijima

Representing the Legion of Doom alliance and managed by John McGuirk, Glenn Carson held a record of 26-15 and a 1-1 record in GAMMA before his fight against Ijima. He brought some of the best grappling in GAMMA, possessing a red belt and some top notch wrestling as well as being a world class boxer, the one thing he lacked however, was a good Muay Thai game. If he was to be exposed it would be in the clinch. Ijima is managed by Ed Soreass and is not part of an alliance. He held a record of 18-12-1 and a 2-1-1 record in GAMMA. Ijima is an Olympic level wrestler as well as a black belt in BJJ with respectable stand up skills.

Now the fight itself was an interesting one as in the first round it was Ijima who tried to take the fight to the floor on three occasions but Carson showed great takedown defense, that was until Ijima shot i

HONOR FC 21 Relentless Event Preview

Event Preview: HONOR FC 21 Relentless
HONOR Fighting Championship
2014-06-21, Las Vegas, The Parisian
Author:

On June 21 Honor FC will be holding Honor FC 21: Relentless at the Parisian, we expect a capacity crowd of 5,250 as there is a title on the line. Vinnie "Danger Zone" Jones will face off with challenger Riley Cooper for the 155 pound belt. Before we get into the match previews we have some very exciting news, Honor FC has officially signed with Just Fight Clothing to be our event merchandise partner, Just Fight is one of the biggest and most successful clothing companies in the world. This is a true sign of the increased popularity and respect of our own organization. Now onto the fights!

Derec "The Smile" Negreanu (4-3-1) vs "The Swiss Superman" Claudio Castagnoli (0-1)

The first fight of the night is a battle in the Light Heavyweight division. Both of these guys have dynamite in their hands with Negreanu's last appearance ending in just 5 seconds via superman punch. Castognoli is a great prospect in the division and could move on to do big things because of his rare combination of power and athleticism. In my opinion his best hope of winning is on the ground with his BJJ but I see these guys wanting to stand in bang. Negreanu takes it in a slug fest.

Prediction: Negreanu via 2nd round (T)KO

About Me:

 Boycott-Gough finally opens up!

A pretender to the crown?

Our roving reporter  Ennery finally managed to track down the reclusive new manager Darren Boycott-Gough to ask a few questions about his growing roster of rookie fighters.

Ennery: Good to meet you at last

DBG: My pleasure, although we have to make it quick, I'm on my way to Monaco to check out my drivers for the next Grands Prix.

Ennery: Straight to the point then.  As a new manager you've gone for rookies rather than more established fighters, why is this?

DBG: Anyone can take a stable of experienced and established fighters to a decent level, but I'm always looking at the summit.  Taking a rookie and taking him to the top; that's satisfying!

Ennery: That's a pretty big ask, do you think that you have the fighters to do it?

DBG: So far I think I've picked up some gems. Tars, John and James all have the talent, and more importantly, the desire, to succeed.  I

Countdown to Destiny 54

Event Preview: Destiny 54: Casacci vs. Pae 2
Destiny FC
2014-06-21, Tokyo, Hard Knocks - Tokyo
Author:Wessel Error

Middleweight Championship

(Champ) Max Casacci vs. (3.) Joe Pae

In Destiny 50 Max Casacci became the 2nd middleweight champion in history of DFC. Max Casacci shocked the world by TKOing the champ Joe Pae in 3rd round. After the fight things got really weird when Max Casacci decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you. Joe Pae was able to defend the belt for 9 times and thats obviously the record in DFC. Now Casacci is set to start his own reign as the middleweight champion. His first title defence will be rematch against no other than former champion Joe Pae. I'm sure at this point 22-year old italian Casacci have realized that he is the champion.

Joe "Kick Ass" Pae had one of the most interesting reign as a champion that we have ever seen in world of MMA. In whole DFC's history there has been only 3 draws and 2 of those draws were Pae's title defences. Of course after both of those draws Pae gave his opponent a rematch and both of those rematches Pae finished his opponent. This time Pae actually officially lost his first fight, but could he once again step up in rematch and ta
