 Kalervo Kaunismieli has retired and will be etched into the granite walls of Synchrosnity’s all time greats. This man has over 50 fights in the org. In 2017, after a brutal stand up war at Syn 540, Kalervo won the Middleweight Championship Belt. He would go on to defend that belt three times and at one point be named the #1 P4P fighter in the world. Kalervo continued to be one of the organization's top fighters for years after his title reign. Primarily a Muay Thai Fighter but with very well rounded skills, Kalervo amassed a professional record of 52-27-2 with over 20 wins coming from (T)KO. Now retired, it is said Kalervo spends his time practicing all religions (except scientology) and all martial arts. He will be found either living at his beautiful compound in upstate New York, visiting one of his many academies, or helping out at his 3,000 acre sustainable farm. Congratulations Champ ! Syn fans will miss you !
