The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Nova feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Framrock had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nova is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Framrock Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nova's back instead.
Framrock is not going to allow Nova to sit and survive in this position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nova might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Framrock kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe shoots for a double leg takedown but Vindicator sprawls well. He's pushed Joe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
