The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alberto tries to avoid it but Demon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alberto to the ground. Alberto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Demon tries to score with a low kick but Alberto moves his leg out of the way.
Carlos Alberto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alberto tries to move into range but Demon moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Demon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Alberto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alberto looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Alberto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Demon's waist but Demon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alberto off to one side.

MacDowell slips a straight right by Tester.

MacDowell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Memphis pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Tribbett was done - good stoppage!

Larry O Leary seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Murray walks straight into a right hand from O Leary - that's dropped him! O Leary jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Murray from any more punishment! Murray complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
