The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cole feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Maney looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Quinton Randleman has been cut.
Randleman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Randleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Davis as he avoids it easily.
Davis tries a head kick but it misses.
Davis scoring well with a low kick there.
Randleman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Davis cracks the inside of Randleman's front leg.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Davis drives through and clinches with Randleman against the cage.
Davis's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Davis breaks from the clinch.
Randleman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Randleman takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Davis looks to score with a jab to the body but Randleman is just out of range.

Davis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Davis buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Randleman tries to keep at a distance but Davis has taken the fight into the clinch.
Randleman tries to pull guard but Davis won't allow it.
Davis softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Davis misses with a hook to the ribs.
A bit of stalling here from Davis.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Randleman managing to block the knees to the body from Davis.
Randleman wants a takedown.
Craig Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinton Randleman.
Randleman fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Davis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Davis lands a nice hook to Randleman's body. Randleman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Randleman takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Randleman ducks under a wild hook from Davis.
Davis scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Davis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Randleman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Randleman tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Davis lands a big head kick that sends Randleman to the canvas! Davis follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
